Egyptian currency and record prices in Eritrea 2023 Part 1

A 1917 Bombay mint two-piastre coin, this piece holds the highest condition and appearance rating of any coin (at the time of this article) and has been graded MS 67 by NGC. It was sold for [amount missing]. 2000 US dollar.

Five Piastres 1916 – Highest Rating
A 1916 Bombay five-piaster coin, one of only two worldwide to have received the highest rating for condition and appearance (at the time of this article) and was graded MS 66 by PCGS. It sold for [amount missing]. 3900 US dollar.

In addition to the pieces that were displayed, other pieces belonging to Sultan Hussein Kamel were offered at the auction, most of which carried high ratings, such as a five-piastre piece issued in 1917, silver, which carried an MS 66 rating from NGC and was sold for $800, and another piece of the ten-piastre category, minted in Birmingham and with an MS 64 rating from PCGS, which was sold for $550.
