Publication guidelines in Al-Muqtani Al-Arabi magazine
The platform welcomes Arab collector With contributions from researchers, academics, authors, and enthusiasts, we strive to provide a leading platform that brings together amateurs and experts. We also encourage historians, archaeology students, and graduates to publish in our online journal.
Special invitation to specialized associations and clubs
The “Arab Collector” magazine believes in the importance of collective work, so we invite all associations and clubs interested in collectibles to participate with their knowledge production.

Copyright: We commit to publishing the name of the club or association alongside the author's name to ensure documentation and preserve literary rights.

Event support: In recognition of your role, the magazine grants associations and clubs free advertising space to advertise their events, exhibitions, or private auctions.
First: Guidelines for submitting articles
We are looking for articles and research that offer a qualitative addition, whether it be new discoveries, analytical studies, or documentation of the history of collections in the Arab world and throughout the world.
1. Acceptable publication fields:
We welcome contributions in all areas of collecting, including but not limited to:

The growths: Coins and currency from all eras.

Stamps: Stamps and postal heritage in all its branches.

Paper money.
-
Decorations, awards, and medals.
-
Other items: Luxury watches, classic cars, phone cards, and any historical collectibles that serve the culture of collecting.

Geographical scope: The journal accepts articles that deal with artifacts from any country in the world, as long as the content is original and provides knowledge value.
2. Article size and formatting:

There is no maximum length limit for the article: We encourage thorough and comprehensive research.

The policy of division: If the article is too long, the magazine's management will coordinate directly with the author to discuss the possibility of dividing the article and publishing it in several parts or issues.
3. Admission and impartiality criteria (important):

Neutrality and objectivity: The scientific and historical approach must be adhered to, and religious, political, or sectarian tendencies must be avoided, except in cases where the historical context serves to understand and document the “acquisition” itself as an archaeological or historical piece, far removed from any promotion of a particular ideology.

Language and translation: The journal primarily accepts articles in Arabic. We also warmly welcome articles translated from other languages into Arabic, provided the translation is accurate and faithful to the scientific content. A limited number of outstanding articles in English are also accepted.

Publication status: We prefer original articles; however, we are open to republishing previously published articles provided the original source is cited.

Scientific integrity: The writer or translator bears full responsibility for the accuracy of the information and references provided.
4. Technical formatting of articles:

File format: Articles are accepted in the following format: Microsoft Word or Google Docs.

the pictures: High-quality images (300 DPI) of the pieces under study must be attached, taking care not to place any text or watermarks over the face of the coin or stamp.

Important note: Images should not be embedded within the text file. Instead, a reference to the image's location within the text (e.g., "Image 1 is here") should be placed, and the images should be sent as separate files.

the biography: A short profile (less than 100 words) including specialization, country, and a personal photo (mentioning the name of the club/association if any).

Sources: References and sources used must be mentioned at the end of each article to ensure scientific integrity (and in the case of translation, the name of the original author and the foreign source must be mentioned).

artificial intelligence: Any use of artificial intelligence tools in preparing the text must be disclosed, and the journal does not accept articles generated entirely by artificial intelligence.

Second: Advertising spaces
The advertisements section is designed to serve the collectors and enthusiasts community, and these advertisements appear in the digital (PDF) version of the magazine.
1. Free ads

For amateurs: For personal sales, purchases, or exchanges.

Content: The advertisement can include text, images, or both.

note: The magazine does not act as an intermediary in communication or sales processes, and reserves the right to reject any advertisement that does not comply with its standards.

Nature of the advertisement: The advertisements attached to the digital version are static (images and designs), and we do not accept video advertisements.
