The riyal was valued at 64 points about a year ago and was spotted by an Arab collector. The company contacted NGC USA, which preferred not to disclose the owner's name.

Now the company is revealing the secrets of the coin, announcing that it is from the collection of the Heaton Mint Museum and that it is one of only two riyals ever minted – the other being in Cairo at the Egyptian Mint Museum.

Most importantly, the coin will be auctioned on January 14, 2018 – how much will this magical piece, described as one of the rarest coins in the world, sell for?
