IBAX Dubai Stamp Exhibition 2023
I participated Emirates Philatelic Society Dragon Mart 2 organized the “IPEX Dubai – 2023” stamp exhibition. The exhibition took place from March 1st to 5th, 2023 at Dragon Mart 2, Dubai. Designed to encourage and promote stamp collecting in the region, the event was a great success with stamp collectors from around the world.

A number of judges from the Arab countries participating in the exhibition were Mr. Abdullah Khoury, Chairman of the Judging Committee, Mr. Omar Mohammed, Mr. Ali Abdul Rahman, and Mr. Javed Mohammed.

Opening ceremony
The exhibition's opening ceremony took place on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
Exhibition program
The exhibition witnessed many programs during its five days. The first day witnessed the official opening ceremony and the taking of the official photo of the judges and coordinators. On the second day, the exhibition activities began and the judging activities began.
On the third day, the results were received from the judging committee and placed on the participants' platforms. After that, a remote auction of stamps and coins was held. On the fourth day, the exhibition concluded, and the closing ceremony was held at 8:00 PM on Saturday, March 4, 2023. On the fifth and final day, the presentations were discussed, the exhibition was closed, and the exhibits were handed over to the participants.

A number of stamp collectors from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Iraq participated in the IBAX exhibition. Professor Mubarak bin Faisal Al-Qahtani won the gold medal and also received the award for Best Gulf Display. Al-Qahtani received his medal from Professor Abdullah Khoury, President of the Emirates Philatelic Association.
