Gold pieces for 2021

The Royal Mint in Britain has unveiled the new gold coins it will issue for 2021, which coincides with the 95th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II.

The coin's edge is encircled by 95 notches; the 95 notches represent the Queen's 95th birthday, one for each year. The 2021 gold coins will also feature a special design: the royal crown with the number 95 inscribed within it.

The Queen was born on April 21, 1926, and will celebrate her 95th birthday in 2021. She is currently the longest-reigning head of state in the world and the longest-reigning monarch in British history.
