A piece of Tutankhamun

The Egyptian government has been unable to recover the Tutankhamun artifact.

In news that was reported hours ago, an artifact belonging to King Tutankhamun was sold at a Christie's auction for £4.7 million (US$6 million).

It is a head made of quartz stone. After negotiations by the Egyptian government that lasted for two months to retrieve the piece, the Egyptian government was informed that the displayed piece was not and will not be up for discussion. A tape was shown showing the ownership of the piece since the seventies of the last century and how it was transferred and displayed in other places.
