A coin bearing the symbol of people with disabilities
During its weekly meeting on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, the Egyptian Cabinet approved several decisions, including the issuance of a circulating one-pound note bearing the slogan "People with Disabilities." This note will help support the rights of people with disabilities and promote equality between people with and without disabilities.
Issuance of a circulating one-pound coin bearing the logo of people with disabilities
The Cabinet approved the issuance of a coin in circulation in Egyptian pounds to celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3, in coordination with the Central Bank of Egypt.
The Cabinet approved the Ministry of Finance's request to issue a one-pound coin bearing the Ministry of Interior's logo in celebration of Police Day The 71st will be issued in January 2023. The currency will circulate alongside other currencies, in coordination with the Central Bank of Egypt.
