Who among us does not remember this wonderful film, which was produced in 1937? The film "Salama Fi Khair" was one of the most important works of the late artist Naguib El Rihani and the first directorial debut of Niazi Mostafa. Its story revolves around a messenger who works in a shop and is sent to the bank to deposit a sum of money, but he is late for the appointment. He returns to the shop and finds it closed, so he goes to a hotel to sleep and keeps the money in the hotel safe. However, it so happens that he is confused with the Emir of Kandahar, and the Emir of Kandahar is impressed with him and insists on completing this confusion in order to expose his enemies.

When I was young and the movie ”Salama Fi Khair” was being shown on television, I eagerly awaited the scene where Najib Al-Rihani was shown stamps and coins of the state of Bloudistan to confirm the identity of the prince, and I hoped that when I grew up I could find those pieces of coins and stamps to add to my collection.
