An excellent opportunity to learn about coins and banknotes in an academic setting: The American Numismatic Society is offering

”American Numismatic Association.”

Every year, the summer seminar is held, inviting the world's leading numismatic experts to deliver intensive courses on various topics related to the hobby and trade of coin collecting. However, due to the current spread of the Coronavirus, the 2020 summer seminar has been canceled and replaced with short online lectures to provide enthusiasts with an overview of most topics. The lectures are usually limited to members of the association, and the magazine "Al-Muqtan Al-Arabi" (The Arab Collector) has requested permission for its members to attend these lectures free of charge, similar to the practice for members of the American Society. The association's administration recently approved this request. Therefore, we present the courses and their topics to you, and we hope they will meet with your interest and engagement. Notes:

1- The lectures will be conducted entirely in English and the lecturers will not be able to answer any questions in any other language.

2- The Zoom platform will be used for the presentation.
