National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

It is a museum located in the old city of Fustat in Cairo, and it houses fifty thousand artifacts that tell the story of the development of Egyptian civilization, in addition to displaying the achievements of the Egyptian people in various fields of life from the dawn of history to the present time. It also contains models, photographs, manuscripts, oil paintings, artistic artifacts and antiquities from the Stone Age, Pharaonic, Greek, Roman, Coptic, Arab, Sudanese civilization and the modern era.

Design philosophy

It is a drawing of the exterior (front facade) of the museum building on a light brown monochromatic background that resembles the color of the Egyptian deserts. The blue indigo pyramid shape was shown in the image of the building to emphasize the aesthetic values in the design.
The stamp displays a QR code, in line with the Egyptian Post's digital transformation policy, to provide more information about the stamp and the event.
