Issuance of a postage stamp to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Tunis Afrique Presse (TAP) news agency.

On January 12, 2021, the Tunisian Post Office will issue a postage stamp to celebrate the sixtieth anniversary of the founding of the Tunis Afrique Presse Agency, a national public media institution with a Maghreb, Arab, African and Mediterranean reach, which has kept pace with the building of the Tunisian state and followed all stages of modern Tunisian history.

The establishment of the Tunis Afrique Presse Agency on January 1, 1961, was a significant event in the history of national media, as this institution is considered the main provider of news to all Tunisian public, private, and community media outlets and all state institutions.

This issue includes a 0.75 dinar stamp and a day's issue envelope.3
