A postage stamp bearing the slogan ”Tunisia Lives On…“ will be issued by the Tunisian Post Office on December 17, 2020, in recognition of the national efforts of various sectors and organizations working on the front lines to prevent and mitigate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The stamp depicts a selection of the active national forces that joined forces to prevent and mitigate the effects of the pandemic and continue providing essential services, including the health sector, security forces, civil society, and the Tunisian Post Office itself. The latter ensured the distribution of social aid and continued to provide its various postal and financial services to citizens and institutions across the country with a spirit of responsibility and preparedness, adhering to health protocols to guarantee the safety and protection of its employees and customers. The stamp also features some of the advanced technological equipment used to support the national effort, such as drones and robots. Its design is predominantly white and sky blue, symbolizing hope and resilience in overcoming this pandemic. This postage stamp and related products will be available for sale starting Thursday, December 17, 2020, at all post offices. They can also be purchased online using various electronic payment methods by accessing the website.
