The UAE and the stamps of the year 50

Emirates Post Group issued commemorative stamps and cards comprising nine different editions, including seven commemorative cards featuring portraits of the seven rulers of the Emirates, a commemorative card featuring the rulers and their crown princes, and stamps bearing the Year 50 logo and the images of the UAE's rulers and their crown princes. This was done to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the UAE's union and to commemorate its unprecedented achievements over the past five decades.

Through this distinctive commemorative mailing collection, Emirates Post Group aims to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of the founding of the state by consolidating the cultural and historical legacy and documenting this important era in the history of the United Arab Emirates under the leadership of its rulers and their wise guidance in driving the march of growth and progress and strengthening the bonds of cohesion and brotherhood between the leadership of the nation and its people.
