Stamp valuation

In a move that, while expected, is the first of its kind, CCG, the parent company of NGC, has just issued a statement about the creation of a new subsidiary to evaluate stamps, just as it evaluates coins, banknotes, and magazines.

The new assessment gives each stamp a score between 1-100 depending on the condition, and each assessed stamp will be placed inside a secure holder for preservation.

We don't know how the company will overcome the problem of varying stamp sizes in every country in the world, as this will require holders of different sizes, unlike coins and banknotes. We also don't know if there will be interest in the new service from stamp collectors – what do you think? Will stamp collectors start appraising their collections? Would you appraise them yourself if the appraisal price was attractive?
