Error in the name of Egypt on the 2020 postage stamp
The Egyptian Postal Authority issued a 4-pound postage stamp on the occasion of World Statistics Day on 20-10-2020, but a month after the issuance, some Egyptian stamp collectors noticed that the name of Egypt was written in English on the postage stamp with the wrong spelling.

It is worth mentioning that in 2015 the Postal Authority issued a stamp and postcard on the occasion of the Suez Canal celebrations, and a picture of the Panama Canal was mistakenly placed on the stamp instead. The mistake was corrected after it was released to the markets and the rest of the quantity was withdrawn, which led to an increase in the price of the stamp and postcard to several times its price in the collectors’ market.

Will this mistake be quickly rectified by the Postal Authority, and will we see an increase in demand for this stamp from collectors, making it a rare stamp? And what price will this stamp reach in the coming years?
