5000 Syrian pounds
5000 Syrian Pounds 2019
The Central Bank of Syria found that the time had become appropriate in light of the current economic changes to introduce the new currency denomination, and thus added a new currency denomination that will be traded alongside the other currency denominations currently in circulation, starting from 24/01/2021.
It should be noted that the Central Bank is working in parallel to find solutions for cash of various denominations by working on preparing the necessary infrastructure for electronic payment operations in coordination with the relevant authorities.
Like its predecessors, the 5000 Syrian pound banknotes possess high security features that make them difficult to counterfeit or forge and easy to distinguish. These features include:
1- Embossed printing gives the paper a distinctive roughness, including (the denomination number – the inscriptions – the signatures – a mark for the blind on the edge of each side of the banknote).
.2. A star-shaped mark in the lower left corner of the note appears in a single color when viewed directly. The denomination number 5000 appears in multiple colors when the note is twisted.
.3. A star-shaped mark whose features are completed on both sides of the paper when viewed through the light.
.4. The number 5000 is printed with color-changing visible ink that creates a kinetic effect, undulating vertically in gold against a light green background. The undulation is visible in the center of the denomination number when viewed directly, and when the banknote is tilted, this undulation moves up and down from the center of the denomination number.
.5. On the back of the paper, there is a microscopic perforation of the number /5000/ that appears vertically in the center of the left side of the paper when viewed up to the light.
.6- Watercolor (Eagle): The emblem of the Syrian Arab Republic and the denomination number appear when the banknote is held up to the light.
.7. A shiny silver vertical strip with kinetic effects containing repeated (CBS) letters that move when the paper is tilted, and when the strip is viewed up to the light, the number 5000 appears.
In addition to other advantages specific to the central bank.
