The coins of Khwarazm: It highlights the study of the coins of the different states that ruled the Khwarazm region during the research period, according to their \u201dhistorical\u201d chronological order, where the coins of each state are dealt with separately in an independent chapter.<\/h4>\n

The first chapter deals with the currency of Khwarazm during the era of the Tahirid princes.<\/div>\n
The second is the currency of Khwarazm during the Samanid era, followed by<\/div>\n
Chapter Three: The Currency of Khwarazm in the Era of the Shahs of Khwarazm,<\/div>\n
Chapter Four discusses the coins of Khwarazm during the Golden Age of the Mongol Empire.<\/div>\n
The fifth section is on Khwarazmian coins during the Timurid era, followed by the most important findings and new additions, then a list of the most important Arabic and foreign sources and references, and finally the illustrations and coin plates.<\/div>\n

Islamic coins are an important source of Islamic history and civilization. They are official documents that are difficult to challenge because they were issued by the state mint. Coins gained their importance because they were one of the symbols of kingship and sultanate, which rulers were keen to adopt upon ascending to power. He was named so because when his father, Timur Lenk, was playing chess, he was given the good news of a boy who had the king piece \u201dShah\u201d and the rook piece in his hand, so he named him after the two pieces of the chess game. Shah Rukh is considered one of the best kings who ruled in Iran and Transoxiana. In addition to his piety, righteousness, justice, and peacefulness, he was characterized by his great generosity, love of knowledge, pursuit of literature, and encouragement of the arts and construction. He restored many of the ruins that had fallen from his father, Timur. He composed poetry and was skilled in calligraphy. Herat in his time was a gathering place for scholars, writers, poets, calligraphers, and painters. He also established a huge library there. One of his wives, Gohar Shad, was famous for establishing charitable buildings. She built several buildings in Herat, Mashhad, and Tus, the most famous of which was her mosque in Herat.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
