The statement specified that the new banknote measures 160 mm in length and 74 mm in width. It also detailed the new banknote&#039;s design, which features a falcon with legs, a watermark, and the number (1000) inscribed on it. Information indicates that this new currency was printed some time ago, but the Central Bank of Sudan decided at that time to postpone its release. The rising cost of government salaries and the continued subsidization of strategic goods put pressure on the transitional government, leading it to resort to borrowing from the banking system and printing money to cover the budget deficit.
