In conjunction with the Blessed Renaissance Day, and in cooperation with the Chief of Staff of the Sultan\u2019s Armed Forces, the Central Bank of Oman is pleased to issue a commemorative silver coin on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the opening of the Sultan\u2019s Armed Forces Museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This commemorative coin is legal tender at its face value and can be purchased from the Central Bank of Oman. The table below details the coin's distinguishing features, specifications, and selling price; however, this price is subject to change based on fluctuations in global silver prices..<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official launch of the currency will take place at the Sultan\u2019s Armed Forces Museum on July 25, 2019, and it will be available for sale from the Central Bank of Oman starting on Sunday, July 28, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
